We're almost two weeks in!

Wow is semester two ever off to a quick start.  We're almost two weeks in and I have had barely any time to breathe!

My apologies for my absences from class this week; SOSSA Swimming was Wednesday and I am away on a French field trip on Friday.

We have been working on diagnostic assessments in French classes.  Both the 1P and 1D class have undergone testing for written, reading and listening skills.  Assessment of speaking skills is ongoing.

In Genocide, we are learning some introductory concepts and some world history.  Students have been asked to submit a brief introduction on-line to the drop box on the HUB.  Many have done so already, some have not.  I look forward to receiving all submissions soon!

Next week, we will be into the introductory units in both French classes where students will have the opportunity to learn some new language structures and apply them to realistic and meaningful scenarios.

Stay tuned!  Oh, and Happy Valentine's Day/Family Day weekend!
