A quick homework update:
CHG381 (Genocide): Students should have finished two handouts by this point: "Genocide; Worse than War"(film) and "A Brief History of the Armenian Genocide". Further, students have just been assigned a modest research paper "A Walk in Their Shoes", which is due Friday, March 4th.
FSF1D1 (Grade nine academic French): Students will be working on their first culminating activity (available on the Hub), on Monday. We hope to begin this modest oral presentations on Wednesday. Also, students were assigned a small reading with a series of multiple choice questions. The reading is called "Le Tunnel de la Peur" and is located in the Anthologie.
In the mean time, DVSS had a great day at the Hamilton Indoor Games track and field meet this past week. For the second year in a row, the team were the overall champions on points. Here's a shot of the victors, and one of midget high jump champion, Julia S.
