This site, which is maintained entirely in English, is your one-stop location for information on assignments, due dates, assessments and other information parents might like to have. Course materials are located in the Hub, which is accessible from the Home Page. I would encourage students to begin navigating the home page for access to the Hub, Google Docs, Board e-mail and other platforms.
Many useful materials are stored on the Hub, including all language structure lessons taught in class in either Powerpoint, .pdf or video form.
To login, students simply use their regular HWDSB login particulars.
User name: rgelder#### (first initial plus last name, then the last four digits of their OEN. Generally students have been using this same login for many years throughout their school careers).
Password: Whatever password they have set for themselves in the past. If they have forgotten their password or are new to our Board, please contact me and we will get them set up.
In addition, we will be using other French-specific platforms throughout the course, chief of which is Xpresslab (without the "e"), where students will complete oral assignments, both listening and speaking via recording. The login particulars are slightly different for this platform, but accounts will be created in the coming days.
