Xpresslab culminating activity and exam

Hello everyone!

Hopefully, everyone is coping with the end-of-semester crunch.  A reminder that the exams are being written as follows:

Grade 9 (FSF1P1): Wednesday, January 22nd at 8:30 a.m. in room 111.

Grade 10 (FSF2D1): Friday, January 24th at 8:30 a.m. in room 111.

In addition, we are currently completing our course culminating activity, an oral interview using the Xpresslab platform.  This is being done today (Monday, January 20th) and tomorrow in class.  Unfortunately, we have encountered an unexpected shortage of audio/recording headsets, as well as some connectivity issues in our computer lab.

As such, we have suggested that students may complete the activity, which they have been preparing for over the course of the past week and which takes only 5 - 10 minutes to record at home.  If you have the ability to record, be it on a laptop or stand-alone computer with an external microphone, or with a headset that includes a microphone, it can be completed.

The site is here:  Xpresslab.  The login particulars are the usual login name (first initial, last name up to 8 total characters plus the last four digits of the OEN).  The password is the same as the user name.

Students are reminded to run the audio/recording diagnostics, which they have done several times over the course of the semester, before they attempt to complete the assignment.
