Good day, parents. Its Halloweek, where the scariest monster of the season seems to be something called "Frankenstorm".
We are only a few weeks away from mid-semester reports, so timely submission of assessments is critical. This week:
FSF1P1
Grade nine applied students are working on oral presentations of their favourite musical acts/sports figures. They are about half done and are going really well. Later this week, students will have a modest written assessment (ie. unit test). This will likely be Friday.
FSF1D1
Students are completing an evaluation wherein groups are presenting a fictitious monster (in keeping with the season). There is also a quiz on Vandertramp verbs on Tuesday, October 30th, and students can expect a "full blown" unit test this coming Tuesday, Novemeber 6th.
FSF2D1
Almost all students have handed in their paragaraphe autobiographique (where they describe themselves at the age of 10). Ask your son/daughter whether his/hers is still outstanding. There will be a dialogue assignment this week, as well as questions from chapter 4 of La machine à rajeunir to hand in. We will likely finish the week with a movie, as a bit of a treat/reward for all the hard work.
